Job Title: HR InvestigatorJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated HR Investigator to join our team and manage workplace investigations. The role involves handling issues raised through internal channels, ensuring thorough documentation and confidentiality, and fostering an inclusive work environment. You will be supporting both hourly and salaried employees while promoting company values and adhering to health and safety requirements.

ResponsibilitiesInvestigate workplace issues and concerns raised through internal company channels.Take statements from hourly employees regarding their complaints.Prepare, track, and maintain appropriate investigation documentation.Manage employee data and statements confidentially.Foster an effective, inclusive work environment and balance employee advocacy with company goals.Provide support to salaried personnel as needed.Support all health and safety requirements for employees.Essential Skills5+ years of experience conducting investigations, including interviewing and case dispositioning.5+ years of experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.Experience in human resources, compliance, investigation and analysis, and employee relations.Strong typing, communication, investigative, and reporting skills.Bachelor's Degree.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a manufacturing and/or unionized environment.Work Environment

This position requires working onsite at the plant five days a week. You will be part of a dynamic environment where employee relations and safety are prioritized.

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.29 - $40.29/hr.
