RESPONSIBILITIES: Build and publish interactive dashboards on Tableau Server (including dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting, and data source management). Create interactive filters, parameters and calculations for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau. Work with team members to create useful reports and dashboards that provide insight, improve/automate processes, or otherwise add value to the team. Maintain (and provide suggestions to improve) our current inventory of standard dashboards. Interact with key stakeholders to understand requirements and execute these through iterative development approaches. Ensure consistency with teams standards of excellence by adhering to an established set of coding and style guides. Ensure work products and presentations are error-free and conform to visual presentation standards including data checking, proofreading, formatting and corporate branding guidelines. Understand and support the People Analytics strategy and act as a role model for the analytics team as we expand the amount of high-quality analytics and insights through the organization. KEY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Extensive portfolio of BI dashboards, demonstrating design competence, capability, and methodology. Strong proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint Excellent data management and analysis skills to assemble, clean and analyze data effectively. Immaculate attention to detail and a keen eye towards visual presentation of work product. A positive can-do attitude and a high personal accountability for results. Ability to successfully navigate complexity, ambiguity and pressure to get things done in a fast-paced environment that requires balancing competing priorities. Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to work with and communicate confidently with all levels of staff and management. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: At least five years of experience designing and developing business intelligence dashboards using Tableau. At least five years of experience using Tableau suite of products (Desktop Professional, Prep, and Server) Experience working with large and complex data sets; able to write simple queries to create calculated fields. Strong qualitative and analytical skills
