Job Description

Summary:
Responsible for the development and implementation of Human Resources strategies in Mexico, aligned with strategic objectives, local regulations, and company policies. This position functions as a trusted advisor to the organization's leaders in areas such as labor relations, talent management, performance management, professional development, employee relations, compensation & benefits planning, and leadership development.

Main Responsibilities:
Labor Relations: Provide best practices and advice to managers on labor relations issues. Manage unions if applicable, and labor disputes in partnership with the legal team to guarantee adherence with labor laws and effective resolution.
Partnership with Leadership: Collaborate with local leaders to understand their talent needs and develop strategies to meet these needs.
Centers of Excellence Collaboration: Partner with our COEs to streamline processes and ensure alignment with market practices, local regulation and organizational goals.
Policy Implementation: Develop and ensure consistent implementation of HR policies and procedures aligned with local regulations and corporate guidelines.
Employee Relations: Provide advice on employee relations to enhance workforce performance and productivity, identifying and addressing people and organizational risks.
Manager Capability Development: Support the development of manager capabilities through coaching and feedback.
Employee Engagement and Organizational Climate: Create and implement initiatives to enhance engagement and improve the organizational climate.
Compensation and Benefits: Ensure competitiveness and internal equity by supporting and advising on issues related to compensation.
Process Improvement: Find opportunities for improvement in HR processes, proposing efficient solutions and challenging the status quo.
HR Projects and Initiatives: Participate in additional initiatives as the need arises.

Education

Degree in HR, Industrial Engineering, Psychology or related subject; master degree preferred.
Experience: 4 -5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience, preferably in a fast-paced, matrix organization.


Skills
Advanced english required, Portuguese is desirable.
Solid knowledge of employment law, compensation, organizational planning and development.
Excellent interpersonal, influence, and coaching skills.
Ability to challenge and influence at all levels in the organization.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with HR software such as WorkDay is an advantage.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to keep sensitive information confidential and secure.
Ocasional travel.
