HR Generalist

Description

We are seeking a HR Generalist / HR Manager to support a Fremont-based site on a 2-month contract (with potential for extension or conversion).

This role will serve as the primary HR support onsite, partnering closely with managers and employees while handling day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, and immigration coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day HR functions for the site

• Support and coordinate employment-based immigration cases in partnership with external legal counsel

• Conduct and support employee relations investigations

• Facilitate leave of absence processes and employee support

• Partner with managers on HR-related decisions and guidance

• Maintain compliance and accurate HR documentation

This is a highly autonomous role, ideal for someone who is confident making decisions and can operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience

• Experience supporting immigration/visa processes required

• Strong employee relations and investigation experience

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred

• Experience with HRIS systems required (Dayforce Ceridian a plus)

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Strong communication and ability to work cross-functionally

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $54.00/hr.
