HR Generalist

Description We are looking for a skilled HR Generalist to join a dynamic healthcare organization in Newark, Delaware. This fully onsite role offers an opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven environment while managing the full spectrum of human resources functions. The ideal candidate will excel in payroll administration, recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
Responsibilities:
• Process payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
• Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs to integrate new hires into the organization effectively.
• Address employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to maintain a positive workplace environment.
• Manage recruitment activities for both clinical and non-clinical positions, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.
• Administer benefits programs and provide support for employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits.
• Ensure adherence to HR policies and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with management to support performance evaluations and employee development initiatives.
• Maintain and update HRIS systems to ensure accurate employee records.
• Provide expertise in resolving HR-related issues and supporting day-to-day HR operations.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance talent acquisition and retention within the organization. Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Hands-on experience with payroll processing, recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
• Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems, such as ADP.
• Familiarity with benefits administration and compensation structures.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage multiple HR functions.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Certification in HR (e.g., PHR or SHRM-CP) is highly desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
