Summary (Major Purpose of the Role):
The HR Generalist - Distribution is responsible for managing all facets of human resources for the distribution center workforce including recruiting, onboarding, benefits enrollment, employee relations, performance management, team member development along with other team initiatives.
Main Activities/Responsibilities:
Recruit the most qualified applicant to fill the open roles and manage the hiring process for temporary, non-exempt, and exempt positions from initial needs assessment to posting job ads, screening candidates, interview coordination, job fairs, offer negotiation and new hire orientation/onboarding. Implement, and monitor HR company and building-wide initiatives. Actively participate in the Employee Engagement Survey and action planning process. Administer all company policies consistently across the building you support. Gather, analyze, and interpret employee relations data to prepare reports and identify trends, training opportunities, and systems. Investigate team member concerns and complaints and recommend a course of action. Drive required compliance training to be delivered on time. Actively engage workforce by being present on the warehouse floor. Facilitate training for benefits and policy changes. Provide counsel, coaching, and mentoring at all levels in the distribution center. Ensure all hire documents are completed, such as I-9 and E-Verify.Ensure the ADP onboarding process is used correctly and that all documents are reflected and signed in the Employee Documents files in ADP.Actively participate in the weekly headcount meetings to ensure proactive updates are communicated to leadership on headcount infrastructure. Ensure effective and timely administration of performance appraisals and disciplinary procedures when necessary. Administers and communicates FMLA regulations to associates. Monitors all leaves of absences and ensures accurate communications with employees, outside leave administrators and internal departments such as Payroll. Attends all weekly leave review with outside leave administrators and accommodation meetings as appropriate.Be familiar with any state leave programs to inform and guide employees on leaves they are eligible for. Familiarity with all state payroll and PTO regulations and ensures that the Payroll system reflects such.Maintain our security process by owning the badge system access. Conduct audits to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal regulations. Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in HR or related Business field3-5 years of demonstrated HR Generalist experience, with 2+ years in an operations or warehouse environment.

Pursuant to California Labor Code § 432.3, Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare provides the following pay scale for this position. The salary range for this role is from $58,160.00 to $72,700.00 per year. Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as the applicant’s experience, specialization, and education, as well as the company’s requirements. The stated range does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits which may be offered to the applicant, if eligible under the company’s policies.
