HR Generalist
Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in ,Phoenix Arizona. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position offering a dynamic opportunity to manage key human resources functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. Responsibilities: • Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes to ensure seamless transitions. • Administer benefits programs, manage leave requests, and handle workers' compensation claims. • Address employee relations concerns by providing guidance and coaching to employees and managers. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. • Manage and optimize HRIS platforms such as Paylocity or similar systems for efficient data handling. • Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks to reflect current standards. • Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and performance. • Support recruitment efforts by assisting with hiring coordination and candidate engagement. • Collaborate with finance and payroll teams to maintain accurate employee data and reporting.Scot Requirements • 3–5 years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in a high-growth or tech-focused environment. • Proficiency in managing HRIS platforms and HCM systems, such as Paylocity or similar. • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and maintain accountability in managing tasks. • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. • Proven ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities. • HR certification, such as PHR or SHRM-CP, is a plus.
