Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Irvine, California on a contract basis. This role offers a hybrid work model, blending in-office collaboration with remote flexibility. The ideal candidate will bring a well-rounded skill set in HR operations and demonstrate expertise in payroll processing, compliance, recruiting, and employee onboarding. Responsibilities: • Process payroll for approximately 40 employees, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including compliance with E-Verify and I-9 documentation. • Oversee recruitment efforts by sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews. • Administer benefits-related tasks, including open enrollment and maintaining employee records. • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and regulations. • Utilize Paylocity software for HRIS management and payroll functions. • Provide support for employee relations and address HR-related inquiries. • Collaborate with leadership to maintain a positive work environment and address workforce needs. • Assist with general HR administration tasks to support team operations. Requirements • Proven experience in payroll processing, with familiarity in Paylocity software. • Strong knowledge of HR compliance, including E-Verify and I-9 requirements. • Demonstrated expertise in recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes. • Experience in benefits administration, including open enrollment. • Proficiency in using HRIS systems to manage employee records and data. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment. • Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong interpersonal skills to handle employee relations effectively.
