HR Generalist
Description We are looking for an experienced bilingual HR-Generalist to join our team in Shelbyville, Kentucky. This is a long-term contract role within the retail industry, offering an opportunity to contribute to various human resources functions, including employee relations, onboarding, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will bring an organized approach and a strong understanding of HR processes to support our workforce effectively. Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain positive employee relations by addressing concerns and resolving workplace issues in a timely and detail-oriented manner. • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new hires are smoothly integrated into the organization. • Manage benefits administration, including enrollment, updates, and employee inquiries, while ensuring compliance with company policies. • Administer HR systems and maintain accurate records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. • Support the implementation and maintenance of HR policies and procedures across the organization. • Collaborate with managers to identify staffing needs and assist in recruitment efforts. • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR-related matters, fostering a productive and inclusive workplace. • Prepare and analyze HR-related reports to assist in decision-making and strategic planning. • Assist in training programs and initiatives aimed at employee development and compliance. • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, keeping the organization up-to-date on any changes. Requirements • Proven experience in employee relations and conflict resolution within a detail-oriented setting. • Strong knowledge of HR administration, including policies, procedures, and compliance. • Familiarity with onboarding processes and the ability to streamline the integration of new team members. • Experience managing benefits programs and responding to employee inquiries. • Proficiency in HRIS systems and the ability to maintain accurate employee records. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and support. • Ability to analyze and prepare reports to support HR decision-making. • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with current standards.
