Job Description

As an HR Generalist, you'll provide service to employees and business stakeholders. You'll also partner with the HRM, HR team members and business leaders to execute Amcor's strategic business initiatives and the Human Capital Strategy.  At this level, you'll provide an intermediate level of business data and analytics.  We'll lean on you for the tactical management of daily HR operations, including the administration of policies, procedures and programs.  This is an individual contributor role that typically reports to the HRM.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

Demonstrate & promote Amcor Safety Culture

Partner with HR Shared Services and HR Centers of Excellence to deliver HR Service Model, including resolution of employee inquiries and issues.

Support business process improvement and participates in related teams and initiatives

Promote and support Amcor health and wellness initiatives

Provide administrative support and coaching for Performance Management processes

Provide HRIS/payroll transactional support to business leaders, processes HR transactions, provides standard HRIS reports and adhoc reports to business leaders along with required data analytics to support decision making

Drive employee engagement by providing administration support for engagement surveys, focus groups and action planning

Perform assigned talent acquisition & onboarding duties including sourcing, recruitment & selection and new hire orientation

Support and coordinate employee development programs and activities

Execute against assigned items on HR Roadmap including items related to: Employee Relations, Engagement, Core Values, & Talent Management

Development and execution of simple, repeatable processes for completion of HR work streams related to employee transactions and HR processes

Partner with Corp HR partners to develops and implement HR process improvements

Execution on annual objectives

Critical Thinking and analysis of situation to implement new measures

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or another related field

3 years of related HR experience

Demonstrated knowledge of HRIS, preferably Workday and/or Kronos

Proven working knowledge of Microsoft office products

Demonstrated s communication skills – written and verba

Preferred:

PHR certification

Project management
