HR Generalist
Description A company in Valencia is looking for a HR Generalist to join the team in Santa Clarita, California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in managing a variety of human resources functions, including employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, and onboarding processes. Responsibilities: • Manage employee relations by addressing workplace issues and fostering a positive and collaborative environment. • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new hires are seamlessly integrated into the organization. • Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance and timely communication. • Maintain and update HRIS systems to accurately track employee data and records. • Collaborate with payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee paychecks. • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies and procedures. • Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with organizational goals. • Conduct regular audits of HR processes to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. • Support performance management processes by facilitating reviews and providing feedback. • Partner with management to identify and address training and development needs. Requirements • At least 5 years of experience in human resources roles, with a focus on generalist responsibilities. • Strong knowledge of employee relations practices and labor law compliance. • Proficiency in HRIS systems for managing employee information. • Familiarity with payroll processes and benefits administration. • Experience with onboarding and integrating new employees into an organization. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with diverse teams. • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple HR tasks.
