JOB SUMMARY
The HR Generalist supports a broad array of HR activities within the department including new hire orientation, onboarding, delivery of various training programs, supporting compensation projects, assisting with benefits and other HR-related questions, handling basic employee relations issues and acting as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR topics.
JOB DUTIES
Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training and development opportunities Deliver training sessions Provide support to employees around policy questions or other issues that may arise Assist with managing the performance management process Develop and run reports Work with assigned client groups to offer coaching and HR service delivery Partner with the Talent Acquisition team on various projects to support recruiting efforts
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field preferred2–3 years of experience in a similar HR roleExpertise with MS Office 365, especially ExcelStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with HR technology tools and systems (e.g., HRIS)Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours, if needed, to meet the job requirementsIf working remotely, employee must provide their own reliable internet service The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds.
