HR Generalist
Description A company in Valencia is looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team. This role is based in Valencia, California, and focuses on supporting various human resources functions within the wholesale distribution industry. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in employee relations, compliance, and HR systems to help foster a positive and productive workplace. You must be able to work onsite Mon- Friday. Responsibilities: • Manage day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, compliance, and benefit administration. • Oversee and ensure the accuracy of payroll and workforce management systems, such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian Dayforce. • Provide guidance on Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) processes and other leave management policies. • Collaborate with managers to address employee concerns and resolve workplace issues effectively. • Ensure HR practices align with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. • Support recruitment efforts by utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) and coordinating hiring processes. • Conduct onboarding and training sessions to integrate new employees into the organization. • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal standards. • Assist in developing and implementing HR initiatives that promote employee engagement and retention. Requirements • Proven experience as an HR Generalist, preferably within the wholesale distribution or financial services industry. • Proficiency in using HR systems, including ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian Dayforce, and ATS platforms. + You must be very Excel Savey- Vlookups, pivot tables • Strong understanding of employment laws, compliance standards, and FMLA regulations. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage employee relations effectively. • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. • Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. • Familiarity with benefits administration and payroll processes. • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
