HR Generalist

Description
We are seeking a highly organized and task-oriented HR Generalist to assist with various behind-the-scenes operations, particularly focusing on onboarding and offboarding processes. This role involves coordinating with IT for equipment setup, conducting first-day meetings with new hires, and managing event scheduling. The ideal candidate should be a multitasker with a strong attention to detail and the ability to keep processes on track. The role would be a remote contract position starting with a timeline of 3 months and prefers candidates working in Mountain or Central time.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Onboarding & Offboarding:
+ Initiate offer letters and background checks
+ Manage new hire packets and start details
+ Oversee the offboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition
+ Collaboration with IT:
+ Work with IT to ensure new hires have necessary equipment set up
+ Assist with IT-related tasks as needed for new hires
+ First Day Support:
+ Lead the first-day meetings for new hires in collaboration with IT
+ Event Scheduling & Management:
+ Coordinate and manage company events, including scheduling and logistics
+ Personnel Files Management:
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee profiles in Paylocity
+ Ensure employee files are current and compliant
+ General Administration:
+ Perform various administrative tasks as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the team
Requirements
Experience: 2-5 years of relevant HR/administrative experience
Software Proficiency: Experience with:
+ Paylocity
+ Checkr
+ Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
+ Slack & Huddle (bonus if familiar)
+ JazzHR (nice to have, but not required)
Core Skills:
+ Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks
+ Strong communication skills and attention to detail
+ Able to keep processes on track and ensure deadlines are met
