HR Generalist

Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Stamford, Connecticut. This role will play a vital part in supporting various human resources functions, including employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR systems management. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong ability to manage multiple HR processes efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving workplace issues effectively.
• Facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have a seamless transition into the organization.
• Oversee benefit programs, including enrollment, communication, and troubleshooting employee inquiries.
• Manage and maintain HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and proper system functionality.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
• Coordinate and execute employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
• Conduct regular audits of HR processes to ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies to align with company goals.
• Prepare reports and presentations on HR metrics and trends for leadership review.
• Support recruitment efforts by collaborating with hiring managers and sourcing candidates as needed. Requirements • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations practices and conflict resolution techniques.
• Familiarity with onboarding processes and best practices.
• Experience managing benefits programs and handling employee inquiries.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance standards.
