Description
Robert Half is assisting a growing company in the search for a highly motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join their team. The HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day human resources operations, including employee relations, compliance, recruitment, and benefits administration. This role requires a professional who can juggle multiple responsibilities while maintaining a strong focus on fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
+ Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related issues, including benefits, policies, and employee relations concerns.
+ Assist in recruitment efforts by drafting job descriptions, posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.
+ Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and ensure HR policies are up to date.
+ Administer employee records and HR systems, ensuring accuracy in payroll, benefits, and personnel files.
+ Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and workplace culture, including organizing events, training sessions, and recognition programs.
+ Assist with the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
+ Collaborate with managers and department heads to address performance issues and implement effective solutions.
+ Participate in workforce planning, analyzing trends, and making recommendations for improving employee retention and satisfaction.
+ Handle employee separations, including exit interviews, offboarding, and supporting smooth transitions.
+ Support organizational change initiatives, including restructuring efforts, mergers, or acquisitions.
Requirements
+ 3+ years of experience in human resources, covering a range of responsibilities such as employee relations, recruitment, and compliance.
+ Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; PHR or SHRM certification is a plus.
+ Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
+ Proficiency in HR software systems (e.g., Workday, ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships across various levels of the organization.
+ High attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
+ Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
+ Demonstrated experience in conducting investigations and resolving employee relations issues professionally and discreetly.
