HR Generalist
Overview The HR Generalist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of HR processes and acts as a key connector between the HR Business Partnering function and other HR Teams. Reporting directly to the HR Business Partner (HRBP), this role provides comprehensive support across the full spectrum of HR activities, operationally contributing to the achievement of the functional goals. As a key interface between HR and the business, the HR Generalist collaborates closely with employees and various HR functions to help ensure a smooth and positive team member journey, providing consistent support and guidance throughout key processes. This role acts as a trusted point of contact for both employees and managers, helping to translate business needs into effective HR solutions and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is passionate about employee experience. Responsibilities • Support to HRBPs and participation in the implementation of HR initiatives and programs that drive change, employee engagement, diversity, and productivity; • Execution of key HR system actions (e.g. creation of requisitions, position number updates, compensation offers) to enable cross-functional HR processes in coordination with HR Services and COEs; • Coordination of sickness-related processes, including communication with the Arbo case manager and employee managers, management of action plans, follow-up on reintegration steps, accurate documentation, and reporting. • Support in onboarding of key talent to strengthen organizational capabilities; • Creation of reports, analysis, and presentation of relevant metrics and insights to support decision-making; • Support in offboarding processes, including exit interviews and data analysis; • Support in the revision and creation of policies and guidelines, and maintenance of content on the SharePoint site; • Identification of people-related issues and trends, and collaboration with HR Services and COEs to develop and implement proactive solutions. • Contribution to HR process improvement and innovation projects, aimed at enhancing efficiency, consistency, and employee experience across the organization. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience); • At least 2 years of experience in an HR role, preferably within an international and matrixed organization; • Solid knowledge of Dutch labor law and HR practices, including a strong understanding of sickness regulations and reintegration processes. Previous experience in managing sickness-related HR processes is a plus; • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong, trust-based relationships across all levels of the organization, navigating complex and dynamic environments; • Solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to proactively contribute to HR and business discussions; • Strong organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities; • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment; • Fluency in English (written and spoken), Dutch is a plus.
