HR Generalist
Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Greenwich, Connecticut. This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to a wide range of human resources functions, including employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition, and performance management. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in HR operations, proficiency with relevant software platforms, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace environment. Responsibilities: • Manage daily HR operations, including payroll, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations. • Oversee talent acquisition processes using Greenhouse Recruiting, ensuring a seamless applicant experience. • Utilize Paylocity to handle payroll, benefits, and organizational management tasks. • Drive performance management initiatives and employee engagement strategies through Lattice. • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, maintaining accurate documentation and policies. • Support managers and employees with conflict resolution and workplace issue mediation. • Develop and implement HR policies that align with organizational goals and industry best practices. • Collaborate with leadership to address workforce planning and development needs. • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend actionable improvements. • Stay updated on industry trends to continuously refine HR processes and tools. Requirements • 4–5 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist role. • Proficiency in Paylocity, Greenhouse, and Lattice platforms is required. • Solid understanding of HR practices, employment law, and compliance regulations. • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
