HR Generalist
Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. This is a Contract-to-permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic HR department while advancing your career. The role is primarily focused on onboarding, compliance, and managing high-volume clerical tasks in a collaborative work environment. Responsibilities: • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience for new hires. • Maintain compliance with company policies and relevant employment laws. • Utilize HR software, such as Paylocity, to manage employee records and workflows efficiently. • Support employee relations by addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively. • Handle benefits administration and FMLA processes with accuracy and attention to detail. • Coordinate and manage high-volume clerical tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Collaborate with the HR team to implement best practices and improve department operations. • Conduct working interviews to assess and onboard potential candidates. • Ensure consistent communication with employees regarding HR-related policies and updates. • Monitor and maintain accurate documentation for compliance and audit purposes. Requirements • Proven experience in an HR Generalist role, preferably within a similar-sized organization. • Proficiency in HR systems such as Paylocity, ADP Workforce Now, or Dayforce. • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a high-volume setting. • Familiarity with benefits administration and FMLA processes. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Knowledge of compliance regulations and employment law. • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team. • Business casual attire required for the office environment.
