HR Generalist

Description We are looking for a dynamic HR Generalist to join our team in San Diego, California. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing employee engagement, fostering a positive workplace culture, and driving key HR initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with leadership and employees to promote growth, inclusivity, and alignment with organizational values.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement strategies to measure employee engagement through surveys, focus groups, and other tools, addressing key findings proactively.
• Facilitate open communication within the organization by organizing one-on-one meetings, team workshops, and regular feedback sessions.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify and address learning and development needs that align with employee goals and organizational priorities.
• Oversee the creation and execution of training programs that enhance leadership skills, teamwork, and overall engagement.
• Act as a cultural ambassador by promoting and embodying the company’s mission, vision, and values in all interactions.
• Lead initiatives focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion to foster a representative and inclusive workplace.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations while managing employee relations and addressing workplace issues effectively.
• Provide guidance on FMLA, benefits administration, and other HR functions to support employees and maintain compliance. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role.
• Strong expertise in employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with HR policies.
• Demonstrated ability to design and manage employee engagement strategies.
• Proficient in facilitating communication and feedback mechanisms across teams.
• Experience in developing and rolling out training and development programs.
• Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices within the workplace.
• Familiarity with FMLA guidelines and other HR-related regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and collaboration.
