HR Generalist
Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Richmond, Indiana. This is a long-term contract position offering an opportunity to contribute to key human resources functions, including payroll processing, employee relations, recruitment, and onboarding. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple HR projects while ensuring compliance and fostering a positive workplace environment. Responsibilities: • Oversee payroll processing using platforms such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian Dayforce. • Support employee relations efforts by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive workplace culture. • Manage recruitment activities, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers. • Facilitate onboarding processes to ensure new hires are seamlessly integrated into the organization. • Administer benefits programs and provide guidance to employees regarding available options. • Ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and regulations, including FMLA requirements. • Utilize HR systems such as Kronos and ATS platforms to streamline workflows and maintain accurate records. • Collaborate on HR projects aimed at enhancing processes and improving employee engagement. • Communicate effectively with employees and management to address HR-related inquiries and provide support. Requirements • Proven experience with HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian Dayforce, and Kronos. • Familiarity with benefits administration and compliance with labor laws, including FMLA. • Strong skills in employee relations with the ability to address workplace concerns diplomatically. • Experience in recruitment and onboarding processes, including using ATS platforms. • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with employees and management. • Knowledge of payroll systems and procedures with attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Background in handling HR compliance and ensuring adherence to organizational policies.
