HR Generalist

Description We are looking for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team on a contract basis in Granville, Ohio. In this role, you will support various human resources functions, including employee relations, recruitment, and compliance activities. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic HR environment while ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance and support for employee relations issues, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
• Assist in recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
• Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new hires have a seamless transition into the organization.
• Manage data entry and maintain accurate employee records in HR systems.
• Generate reports and analyze HR data to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies, including managing FMLA and other leave requests.
• Collaborate with the benefits team to handle employee inquiries and assist with benefit-related processes.
• Support the implementation and optimization of HR systems, including ADP Workforce Now and other relevant platforms.
• Provide training and communication to employees on HR policies and procedures as needed.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices. Requirements • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar human resources role.
• Proficiency in HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, or Dayforce.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration.
• Familiarity with FMLA and other leave management processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and data management skills.
• Ability to generate and interpret HR reports to support strategic decisions.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment processes. TalentMatch®
