HR Generalist

Description We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our Human Resources department by managing employee records, ensuring compliance with policies, and providing expert guidance on HR-related matters. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate personnel files and update employee records, including processing changes in employment status and inputting data into HR systems.
• Serve as a point of contact for employees, applicants, and external agencies, providing clear information on HR policies and procedures.
• Prepare and manage various forms of correspondence, reports, and documentation, such as employment verifications and routine communications.
• Coordinate HR-related activities, including scheduling meetings, interviews, and employee events.
• Analyze HR challenges and recommend solutions to align with company objectives while ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy.
• Support compliance efforts by adhering to company policies and standards related to health, safety, and sustainability.
• Assist in benefits administration by maintaining records, preparing documentation, and facilitating enrollment processes.
• Contribute to compensation programs by preparing reports, assisting in salary planning, and addressing inquiries related to pay and bonuses.
• Participate in employee relations efforts by gathering information for investigations, supporting training initiatives, and fostering a positive workplace environment. Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least two years of related experience, or six years of combined education and experience if non-degreed.
• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with colleagues, management, clients, and vendors.
• Solid understanding of HR principles and practices, with relevant technical knowledge.
• Excellent organizational abilities to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with HR systems such as ADP & Dayforce.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion while maintaining confidentiality.
• Problem-solving aptitude combined with a team-oriented approach and a drive for continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with global compensation and benefits programs is preferred.
