HR Generalist
Description We are looking for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This Contract-to-continuing position offers the opportunity to support key human resources functions while fostering a positive and compliant workplace environment. Responsibilities: • Manage daily HR operations, including onboarding, employee relations, and benefits coordination. • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies. • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters, fostering effective communication and problem resolution. • Support recruitment efforts by screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and utilizing applicant tracking systems to attract top talent. • Oversee benefits administration, including FMLA and other leave policies, to ensure accurate and timely processing. • Conduct employee training sessions to enhance engagement and awareness of workplace policies. • Maintain and organize accurate HR documentation and records to support compliance and reporting needs. • Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and recommend actionable improvements. • Collaborate with internal teams to promote a positive workplace culture focused on employee well-being. Requirements • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar human resources role. • Required - Understanding of Canadian employment laws, compliance regulations, and best practices. • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and HR software, such as Workforce Now or Ceridian Dayforce. • Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations and resolve workplace issues effectively. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport. • Experience in benefits administration, including FMLA and leave management. • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
