HR Generalist

Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Renton, Washington. This Contract to permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization by supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded skill set in human resources and a passion for fostering a positive workplace environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and preparing job offers and onboarding materials.
• Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and compensation inquiries.
• Handle employee relations matters, such as mediating workplace conflicts, conducting investigations, and addressing disciplinary issues.
• Oversee performance review processes, including merit reviews and compensation adjustments.
• Administer employee benefits, ensuring accurate enrollment, updates, and communication regarding pay and leave policies.
• Support HR team members with various administrative tasks and departmental projects.
• Coordinate with retail management teams to address staffing needs and ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain compliance with HR policies and procedures, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to regulations.
• Collaborate with volunteers and external stakeholders on special HR-related initiatives.
• Utilize HR systems, such as Paycom and Office tools, to maintain accurate records and generate reports. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a human resources role, with exposure to multiple HR functions.
• Proficiency in recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, compliance standards, and performance management processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive employee matters discreetly.
• Familiarity with HR systems, such as Paycom, and proficiency in using Office applications.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in customer service or employee engagement initiatives is a plus. TalentMatch®
