HR Generalist

Description We are looking for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team in Palo Alto, California. This is a Contract position that requires a proactive individual with expertise in compensation, benefits, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and communication skills to support HR functions effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance and effective communication with staff.
• Utilize platforms such as ADP Workforce Now and Dayforce to administer payroll and benefits processes.
• Address employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations, including FMLA and other relevant policies.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Conduct audits of HR systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Facilitate onboarding and training programs to ensure a smooth integration for new hires.
• Prepare reports and analyses related to workforce trends, benefits utilization, and compliance metrics.
• Support open enrollment processes and address employee inquiries regarding benefits.
• Coordinate with external vendors on benefits administration and payroll services. Requirements • Proven experience working with ADP Workforce Now, Dayforce, and other HRIS platforms.
• Strong understanding of employee benefits, payroll systems, and compliance regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for handling employee relations.
• Familiarity with labor laws, including FMLA and other state-specific requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with conducting HR audits and implementing process improvements.
• Proficiency in using HR tools and software to streamline workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. TalentMatch®
