Description
We are looking for an experienced HR Director to join a collaborative and close-knit team in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will oversee various HR functions while mentoring entry level staff and ensuring smooth daily operations. This is a Contract to permanent opportunity, offering flexibility and a chance to make a significant impact in an educational environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and lead human resources operations, including employee relations and compliance initiatives.
• Administer comprehensive benefit programs and address employee inquiries related to compensation and benefits.
• Serve as a mentor to HR team members, providing guidance and support to entry level staff.
• Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations policies.
• Coordinate recruitment efforts, including interviewing candidates and assisting with onboarding processes.
• Oversee administrative HR functions such as maintaining records and documentation.
• Partner with other departments to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
• Conduct and manage background checks and required clearances for new employees.
• Assist with HR system implementations and process improvements as needed.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Proven experience in HR leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, compensation, and benefits administration.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements, including background checks and clearances.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to work with paper-based systems.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to mentor and support less experienced team members effectively.
• Flexibility to work on-site with occasional remote opportunities.
