Role Purpose

The HR Senior Director provides proactive, insight-driven leadership to shape and drive the Human Resources function within the scope of Peru. Acting as a trusted advisor to the business and collaborating with the business management team, the HR Senior Director aligns HR activities with the business strategy to support organizational goals and influence the strategic direction of the business, while balancing the employee perspective. This role is pivotal in driving HR transformation and change to maximize the capabilities of our people across all levels of the organization, ensuring HR services are delivered to enhance business performance.

Main Accountabilities

Overall Management of HR Functions: Build, organize, and develop the Human Resources team, managing all people-related activities across standard and aligned HR processes in key areas: Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Engagement, HR Administration, and Change Management.

Budget Management: Oversee the HR function's budget with a balanced focus on strategic and operational HR activities for the country/entity in scope.

Policy Development and Implementation: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with national regulations and align with internal and external best practices, and effectively communicate them to employees.

Workforce Planning: Develop plans to meet the future requirements of supervisors at all levels across the company.

Representation: Represent the company before labor authorities, trade unions, and workers' associations.

Consultation and Advisory: Act as a consultant, providing advice, challenge, and coaching to employees and business managers on people-related issues and processes such as performance management, talent management and acquisition, learning & development, and compensation & benefits, delivering HR solutions that enhance commercial success.

Compliance Support: Provide support in compliance-related areas, including training, communication campaigns, audits, and investigations.

Requirements

Education: University degree in Human Resources or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Proven HR Expertise: 10+ years of experience in various HR-related areas, with a focus on Engagement, Labor Relations, and Health and Safety.

Language Requirements: Fluent in English; native Spanish speaker.

Core Competencies: Respect and results-driven, demonstrated leadership ability to work in a matrix environment with senior management, data-driven insights, cultural shaper, DEIB champion, excellent active listening and negotiation skills, and competence in building and effectively managing interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
