HR Director
Description Mark Tower with Robert Half is excited to partner with a leading manufacturer in Orchard Park, NY on their search for an established Human Resources Director. The HR Director will lead all human resources functions, combining strategic HR leadership with hands-on management of employee relations, benefit administration, compliance, talent acquisition, training, and payroll processing. This is a Direct Hire position with a starting salary of $90,000 - $110,000, a discretionary yearly bonus, and a comprehensive benefits and perks package. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience and a modern approach to HR leadership. Responsibilities include but not limited to: + Develop, implement, and manage HR policies and programs that support business operations and comply with labor laws + Administer and process payroll for approximately 100 hourly and salaried employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations + Oversee timekeeping systems and resolve payroll discrepancies, including PTO tracking, shift differentials, and attendance issues + Manage recruitment and onboarding processes for both hourly and salaried staff to meet production needs + Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including performance issues, corrective actions, and investigations + Ensure legal compliance with employment practices and manage regulatory reporting (EEO, ACA, OSHA, etc.) + Lead performance management, employee engagement, and retention initiatives + Coordinate employee benefits programs and assist with annual open enrollment Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred + 5+ years of HR leadership in a manufacturing setting highly preferred + Strong understanding of payroll regulations, federal and state employment law, and HR compliance requirements + Proficiency with HR/payroll systems.
