HR Direct Team Manager with German (Austrian and German market)

If you enjoy working with people, thrive on new challenges, and appreciate agile ways of working — HR Direct is the place for you! **Tasks & responsibilities** • Lead two small teams (approx. 10 people total) with diverse experience levels and responsibilities, guided by company values and leadership principles — with a strong focus on customer experience, operational excellence, and employee development. • Oversee end-to-end delivery of HR Direct services in line with internal and external compliance requirements. • Monitor and report on KPIs, team performance, and service quality. • Work closely with two German-speaking countries, ensuring alignment and effective cross-border cooperation. • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, manage escalations, and build strong relationships through effective communication and technical skills. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and regularly review and optimize processes. • Maintain and update internal knowledge bases and process documentation. • Participate in projects and work in a goal-driven environment where service quality is measured. **About our future employee** You speak German and English on min. B2 level and have around 3 years of professional experience in leading a team in Hire-to-Retire Services or related. **Additionally, we are looking for:** • Master's degree preferably in HR field or related areas. • Strong empathy, accountability, entrepreneurial mindset, team spirit, and customer-centric approach. • Positive attitude, willingness to act as a role model in a speak-up culture, and ability to contribute ideas for process improvements. • Excellent stakeholder management skills. • Resilience and the ability to independently address complex issues in a solution-oriented manner (e.g., within the HR 3-pillar model) during times of transformation and change. • Preferably experienced in team building and managing transitions. • Familiarity with systems such as SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, Haufe, ServiceNow, and OpenText is a plus.
