Work Environment
The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., for a 35-hour work week. The environment is collaborative and family-oriented, with close interaction between HR, accounting, operations, and warehouse teams.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Human Resources or Payroll.Bachelor’s degree preferred, but will consider without if the experience level is there.Specialized knowledge and hands-on experience in U.S. payroll processing.HR reporting experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret HR data and metrics.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and the broader Microsoft Office suite.Job Description
The HR Coordinator plays a key role in supporting day-to-day human resources operations across U.S. and Canadian locations. This position focuses on payroll processing, benefits administration, HR data management, and employee relations while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. The HR Coordinator partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate HR services, support a positive workplace culture, and contribute to HR initiatives that enhance employee experience and organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
Process biweekly U.S. and Canadian payroll accurately and on time, including preparing and delivering all related reports as required.Process U.S. biweekly and Canadian monthly expense payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.Assist with maintaining and updating HRIS system data to ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of employee information.Gather, analyze, and report HR data and metrics, including payroll and ad hoc reports based on leadership and supervisor needs.Collaborate closely with the Canadian Accounting and Office functions to align HR and payroll processes and resolve issues.Participate in research and evaluation of employee benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance with applicable regulations.Support managers on employee-related matters, including compensation, benefits, and workplace issues, under the guidance of the Senior HR Generalist.Participate in the development and maintenance of the compensation structure to ensure alignment with evolving salary and benefits trends.Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements related to HR operations and payroll.Assist with employee discipline and termination procedures while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies, and maintaining thorough documentation.Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all HR-related activities, including personnel files, payroll records, and benefits documentation.Assist the Senior HR Generalist in managing the company’s fleet of vehicles in accordance with the automobile policy.Assist in tracking all compliance-related training, monitoring completion, and following up to ensure timely compliance.Participate in the development, revision, and implementation of HR policies and procedures to support consistent and fair practices.Support the Senior HR Generalist in administering company-provided benefits, including safety, health and welfare, and wellness programs.Lead special HR projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing to process improvements and HR program enhancements.Support the planning and execution of HR-led company events that foster engagement and reinforce company culture.Assist with the implementation of employee training and development programs to enhance skills, performance, and career progression.Administer the company uniform program, ensuring proper distribution, tracking, and compliance with uniform guidelines.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, consistent with HR expertise and capabilities, to support overall HR and business needs.Job Type & Location

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00/hr.
