Job Title: HR Coordinator
Job Description
The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator will efficiently undertake a variety of HR administrative duties. This role facilitates daily HR functions, such as keeping track of employee records and supporting the hiring process. The HR Coordinator also performs tasks with a focus on growing the company's talent pipeline and improving the onboarding process.
Responsibilities
Work directly with and report to the human resources director regarding all HR endeavors.Support the HR director in educating employees on and enforcing company policies.Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates, etc.) in both paper and the HR Information System (HRIS) and ensure all employment requirements are met.Ensure all employee records are filed correctly and kept confidential.Assist in the hiring process of employees, including prescreening applicants, scheduling screenings, drug tests, fingerprinting, and scheduling interviews as needed.Help with new-hire procedures, including organizing employee orientation, creating new employee files, administering employee handbooks, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is properly filled out and submitted to appropriate persons.Organize, maintain and update employee HRIS information as needed.Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits, etc.).Execute all employee termination procedures, including advising employees on their rights and any benefits they are entitled to.Maintain positive employee relations and work to ensure worker satisfaction through education of HR policies and by fostering a positive work environment.Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, completing the onboarding process for new hires, etc.Assist supervisors and managers in performance management procedures.Coordinate and schedule HR and company events.Abide by company-enforced HR processes and current employment laws and regulations.Be a vital source of human resources information under the leadership of the HR leadership team, answering any questions employees may have.Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like the collection of employee feedback.Support other functions as assigned.Essential Skills
Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position.Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices.Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems (e.g. Paycom).Ability to work with ATS software.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.Comfortable working in a highly visible role.Ability to handle data with confidentiality.Good organizational and time management skills.Professional integrity and sense of responsibility and accountability.Attentive listener.Highly organized and efficient worker; skilled at multi-tasking.Good time-management skills.Positive and personable demeanor.Ability to handle stressful situations.Strong communication skills, both oral and written.Excellent collaborator.Ability to follow directions accurately and without hesitation.Willing to take initiative and work independently when needed.HR competence and knowledge of HR processes and computer programs.Understanding, empathetic and relatable.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate in Business Administration or relevant field; additional education in Human Resource Management will be a plus.2-3 years’ experience as an administrator and/or coordinator.In-depth understanding of sourcing tools, like resume databases and online communities preferred.Certifications in HR (e.g. SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.Work Environment
The HR Coordinator will work a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This position offers a hybrid work environment with two days in the office, typically on Tuesday and Thursday, which may be flexible. New hires start at 9:00 AM, so the HR Coordinator must be present to facilitate the onboarding process.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
