HR Coordinator
We are currently searching for a Human Resources Coordinator to join a leading International company providing valuable sustainable energy solutions. The Human Resources Coordinator will support a safe and productive workplace, drive strategic initiatives, oversee onboarding for all Canadian new hires, employee relations, performance management, training and reporting on key HR metrics in Workday to ensuring employee success. 

Key responsibilities include: Provide guidance to managers on performance management, discipline and conflict resolution. Train, guide and support existing and new managers. Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs to support employee integration and retention.  Build strong relationships with local employment organizations, colleges and apprentice programs. Represent Canadian needs at the People & Organization (P&O) team meetings with detailed data and insights. Champion a positive, respectful and inclusive workplace culture. Lead or support workplace investigations with strong knowledge of the Employment Standards Act, Occupational Health & Safety Act and Human Rights Code and WSIB requirements. Ensure consistent policy application across all departments and shifts. Maintain accurate employee records, documentation and HR metrics utilizing Workday as the primary HRIS. Collaborate with the Payroll & Benefits Manager to support payroll changes, benefits enrollment, group insurance plans and attendance programs as needed. Participate in compensation benchmarking and recommendations to maintain a competitive workplace. Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to support hiring new staff. Ensure the company is in compliance with all provincial employment legislation that supports a safe and productive workplace that drives strategic people initiatives that align with business objectives. The successful candidate has: A degree in Human Resources and professional designation would be preferred (CHRP or CHRL). Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments. Strong knowledge of Ontario employment law, OHSA and WSIB processes. Experience in supporting both hourly and salaried employees. Experience with Workday highly desirable.  Must be able to travel between the two Ontario sites. Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and ability to multi-task to meet target deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders across multiple departments. Comfort in making presentations and public speaking. Strong analytical, planning, execution and problem solving skills. Must possess a high level of moral judgement for handling confidential information. Strong diplomatic, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Compensation and benefits: The discussed salary range is between $80,000 to $100,000. Comprehensive benefits package.
