HR Coordinator
Description We are looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis for a three-month assignment in Los Angeles, California. This position offers an opportunity to work in the dynamic environment of the non-profit sector, supporting critical human resources functions and ensuring smooth operations. Responsibilities: • Manage daily HR operations, including maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. • Utilize ADP Workforce Now and other HR systems to process payroll, benefits, and employee data. • Oversee recruitment efforts by coordinating job postings, tracking applicants, and conducting background checks. • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, audits, and communication with employees. • Conduct thorough auditing of HR files and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Support onboarding processes to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the organization. • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, payroll, and benefits. • Collaborate with management to address employee relations issues and provide solutions. • Generate reports and provide data analysis to support HR decision-making processes. • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to legal requirements in all HR functions. Requirements • Proficiency in HR software, including ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Dayforce. + Must have NEOGOV experience • Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, including ATS systems and background checks. • Experience managing benefits administration and payroll functions. • Exceptional organizational and communication skills. • Ability to perform audits and ensure compliance with HR regulations. • Previous experience in a non-profit organization is preferred. • Familiarity with HR policies and procedures. • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
