Description We are looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting various human resources functions, including employee onboarding, payroll assistance, and benefits administration. This is a long-term contract position that offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and detail-focused environment. Responsibilities: • Facilitate employee onboarding processes, including background checks and physicals. • Enter employee information into HR systems such as Paycor and assist in maintaining accurate records. • Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries and ensure timely payroll processing. • Verify employee schedules against timecards and ensure data accuracy in payroll systems. • Collaborate with benefit providers to address employee insurance and benefits-related questions. • Track and manage FMLA leaves, ensuring compliance with company policies. • Prepare and manage documentation for workers' compensation cases. • Ensure employees maintain required licenses and certifications, such as RN credentials. • Post job opportunities on platforms like Indeed and review incoming resumes. • Serve as a liaison between the company and external vendors for HR-related services. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources or payroll coordination. • Proficiency in HR software systems, including Paycor and Excel. • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills. • Familiarity with background portals and benefit functions. • Proven ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Knowledge of FMLA, workers' compensation, and payroll processes. • Ability to meet licensing requirements and comply with pre-employment screening procedures.
