HR Coordinator

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Avon, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring compliance with employment documentation while maintaining organized records and supporting administrative HR processes. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a growing organization within the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
• Review and validate I-9 documentation for current employees to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
• Audit and organize existing I-9 files, identifying and addressing incomplete or outdated records.
• Implement and maintain processes to ensure ongoing compliance with employment documentation standards.
• Perform accurate data entry to update and maintain employee records in the HR system.
• Assist in filing and organizing HR-related documents to enhance accessibility and record-keeping.
• Communicate effectively with employees and management to address documentation needs and questions.
• Collaborate with the HR team to improve administrative workflows and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regular audits of employee records to identify discrepancies and maintain accuracy.
• Utilize Office tools to create reports and track progress on HR projects.
• Support additional HR administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative or HR-related role.
• Proven ability to audit and organize documentation with high attention to detail.
• Strong proficiency in data entry and record management.
• Familiarity with I-9 compliance processes and federal employment regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills to interact with employees and stakeholders.
