HR Coordinator
Description We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team in Clinton Twp, Michigan. In this Contract-to-ongoing role, you will play a key part in managing essential HR functions, including employee file management, onboarding, and compliance. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while supporting the day-to-day needs of the HR department. Responsibilities: • Maintain and organize employee files, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. • Oversee onboarding processes, including background checks, I-9 verification, and E-Verify submissions. • Conduct audits of employee records, transitioning data from paper files to electronic systems as needed. • Utilize HR software such as iSolved, ADP Workforce Now, and Dayforce to manage employee information and generate reports. • Support benefits administration and address employee inquiries related to HR functions. • Prepare and analyze Excel reports, such as hours-ending summaries and other HR-related data. • Assist with training and development initiatives for new hires and existing employees. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations. • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to address HR-related needs. Requirements • Proven experience in HR coordination or a similar role. • Proficiency in HR software platforms such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian Dayforce, or iSolved. • Strong knowledge of compliance processes, including I-9 verification and E-Verify. • Familiarity with auditing employee files and transitioning records to electronic systems. • Competency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and analyze reports. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
