HR Coordinator

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator to join our team in Columbia, South Carolina. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting various human resources functions, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and payroll administration. This role also includes administrative responsibilities, ensuring smooth communication and execution of internal projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and conducting orientation sessions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with data management standards.
• Assist in payroll processing by verifying timesheets and coordinating employee benefits programs.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, including organizing events, training sessions, and development programs.
• Help administer performance review processes and identify training opportunities.
• Prepare HR-related reports and presentations for management review.
• Provide administrative assistance to the HR Director and company leadership, ensuring smooth operations.
• Participate in workplace safety audits and implement safety-related policies.
• Coordinate internal communication, supply orders, and project meetings.
• Monitor progress on various internal initiatives, including compliance exams, new product reviews, and continuous improvement efforts. Requirements • Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, to interact with employees at all levels.
• Familiarity with HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Proficiency in HR-related software platforms such as ADP Workforce Now and ATS.
• Experience conducting background checks and managing onboarding processes.
• Knowledge of payroll and benefits administration.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience with Paylocity or similar systems is a plus. TalentMatch®
