HR Compliance Specialist

HR Compliance Specialist – Ensures HR processes, documentation, and compensation programs remain compliant with employment laws and internal standards.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.

3+ years of HR compliance, HR operations, or audit-focused HR experience.

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR compliance requirements.

Experience working with compensation structures, bonus and/or commission programs, or data-heavy HR projects.

Proficiency with Workday HRIS.

Proficiency with Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Preferred Skills:

Experience conducting HR audits of HRIS data, personnel files, compensation records, and timekeeping systems.

Experience supporting internal or external HR or compliance audits.

Experience maintaining compliance documentation and supporting required filings or reports.

Experience in multi-state or multi-jurisdiction employment law environments.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct routine and ad-hoc audits of HR systems, personnel files, compensation records, timekeeping, and other HR processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Identify compliance risks, document findings, recommend corrective actions, and track remediation activities.

Draft, update, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with applicable regulations.

Support creation, analysis, and administration of bonus and commission plans, including data review, calculation validation, and documentation.

Maintain comprehensive compliance documentation and support internal and external audit requests.

Monitor regulatory changes and support implementation of updates across HR operations.

Partner with HR, Finance, Legal, and leadership stakeholders to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures.

Maintain accurate HRIS records and ensure data integrity across Workday and related systems.

Assist with compliance reporting, required filings, and document management.

Help optimize HR processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance throughout the employee lifecycle.



Pay Details: $29.00 to $39.00 per hour
