HR Cluster Lead Western Europe
PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Member of the HR Country Partner team responsible for leading a team of HR Country Partners in a Cluster. They will be responsible for the whole employee life cycle, overviewing that since hire to retire all processes are in line with the company requirements. Need to understand and manage the different labor laws in scope. Must understand how to deal with Works Councils and Employee Associations in very difficult environments. High complex legislation and organizations will be the scope of this role. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: + Ensures the teams are applying HR policies and employee programs fairly, consistently, and in accordance with Company core values, mission, and labor laws. Policies, programs and processes may include Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, Retention, HR audits, and HR administrative tasksper global, regional, or local requirements. + Assists with evaluation of business requirements as requested in collaboration with Strategic HR Business Partners and Center of Excellence teams to ensure communication, implementation, and support of any fully approved program or process can be done effectively. Ensures teams provide appropriate serviceof such programs and processes and has appropriate feedback mechanisms. + Addresses concerns of a diverse scope and demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. + Ensures quality of problem/resolution responses and investigations to safeguard the uniform and equitable treatment of employees. + Where required, supports the application of union contract requirements and may participate in the negotiation process. + Partakes in or directs the appeals process. + Continuously assesses quality of procedures, SOPs and SLAs and implements changes as necessary to ensure client satisfaction. + Uses data tools and people related metrics to diagnose and identify trends and develop proactive steps to avoid recurring issues. This includes the team usage of case management and documentation measures. + Stays current on employment and labor practices. + Responsible for team management including performance, hiring, retention, staffing levels, performance appraisals, coaching and development opportunities. + Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments, and can manage multiple and conflicting priorities. + Performs other related duties as assigned. SUPERVISION: + This position has direct reports in one or multiple countries. EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS: + Bachelor’s Degree; Advanced Degree desirable EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS **:** + Extensive professional experience (approximately 10-12 years), including substantial (at least 5 years) managerial experience, as well as in-depth knowledge of Human Resources. Multi-country experience is preferred. + Demonstrated ability to be an agent of change. + It is resilient and can navigate challenging or difficult situations with the ability to hold crucial conversations. + Collaborates at all levels through listening, sharing, and building upon ideas, challenging others’ ideas respectfully, compromises and adapts toachieving common goals that are the best interests of the organization, and the teams involved. + Competence in software applications relating to human resources such as case management systems and Workday is preferred along with the suite of Microsoft Office products. + Demonstrates excellent communication skills - both written and verbal including English + Can work independently and can manage multiple competing priorities. + Has strong business acumen in addition to Human Resources skills. + Has an unquestionable commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and privacy. + Healthcare experience a plus. + Advanced influential Skills
