Job Description

The BHR will be a trusted partner helping to shape our culture, support business strategies and finding and developing the talent necessary to make a remarkable impact on Abbvie and patients around the world.
The individual will leverage best in class HR practices to continually construct, deliver and support programs that establish AbbVie as an employer of choice while empowering all employees at all levels of the organization.
This role will support Singapore employees based at Tuas site.
Responsibilities
1. Partners the business and people leaders, developing HR strategies, needs assessments and resulting HR solutions.
2. Acts as a liaison between the business and HR. Builds strong relationship with the internal stakeholders.
3. Coordinate and implement HR strategies to meet organizational needs of a major segment of the business.
4. Provides consultative and problem-solving services to managers, employees and other HR functions regarding HR policies and practices, performance management, and other employee relation areas.
5. Manage and leverage delivery of HR services across multiple business units to maximize effectiveness and impact to meet the needs of the business.
6. Responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of all HR programs and services. Responsible for HR results in the business, including client satisfaction, HR effectiveness, and associated financial results.
7. Lead/ Support in the roll out of HR annual talent cycle activities such as goal setting, annual performance management, talent management review, development planning, employee survey.
8. Lead/ Support the implementation of employee engagement strategy.
9. Ensures compliance with all relevant local country laws, regulations, policies and practices.
10. Any other ad-hoc projects assigned by immediate supervisor.


Qualifications

•Bachelor’s Degree in business/ Human Resources
•At least 5 years of experience in business partnering
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•Strong technical knowledge of HR functions, management, and local labor laws.
•Highly motivated team player who is adaptable, mature, meticulous, self-driven and customer-service oriented
•Good organization skills with ability to prioritize important projects
•Maintain confidentiality of AbbVie’s data and uphold AbbVie Values.
