HR Business Partner (Fixed‑Term Contract)

Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive, resilient and business‑oriented HR Business Partner to join our Athens‑based HR team on a fixed‑term contract.
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, providing hands‑on HR support while contributing to the delivery of key people initiatives across the organization. You will partner closely with management to support the full employee lifecycle and promote a culture of performance, engagement and continuous improvement in a dynamic, multinational environment.
This position is ideal for an HR professional with a solid generalist background who is eager to expand their business partnering exposure and operate at the intersection of people strategy and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Talent & Performance Management
Coordinate and support the annual talent and performance management cycle, including goal setting, performance reviews and development planning.
Partner with managers to identify capability and talent gaps, supporting succession planning and talent development actions.
Contribute to career development, learning initiatives and internal mobility processes, fostering employee growth and retention.
Employee Relations & Engagement
Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees on employee relations topics, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and internal policies.
Handle sensitive and complex cases with professionalism, discretion and sound judgment, escalating when appropriate.
Promote a positive, inclusive and engaging employee experience across the organization.
Ensure a smooth and effective onboarding experience for new hires.
HR Operations, Governance & Analytics
Support key annual HR processes such as compensation reviews, engagement surveys, training initiatives and workforce planning.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity within HR systems (HRIS) and prepare HR reports, dashboards and presentations as required.
Support M&A‑related activities, including benefits harmonization and change support.
Partner with Finance to manage headcount, labor cost budgeting and forecasting.
Provide insights through HR metrics to support informed decision‑making.
Requirements & Qualifications
Master’s degree preferably in Economics, Law, Humanities; a Master’s in Human Resources is strongly preferred.
3–4 years of experience in an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist or Specialist role within a complex, multinational organization.
Solid knowledge of local labor legislation and HR best practices.
Experience working with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and people analytics.
Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
High level of interpersonal sensitivity and collaboration.
Proven hands‑on, can‑do attitude with the ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to prioritize effectively and work under pressure.
Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken).
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office.
