You’ll work closely with leaders to align people strategies with business goals, foster an inclusive culture, and ensure our teams have the tools, support, and environment they need to excel. **On a typical day you will:** + Serve as a strategic HR Business Partner to business leaders, aligning people, talent, and organizational strategies with business objectives in both unionized and non-unionized environments. + Partner with leaders to support organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, performance management, and succession planning initiatives. + Lead employee and labor relations activities, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant practices in accordance with the Mexican Federal Labor Law (LFT), labor regulations, and internal policies. + Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on union-related matters, workforce decisions, disciplinary actions, and terminations, ensuring proper due process and compliance with collective bargaining agreements. + Maintain effective relationships with union representatives, supporting ongoing labor-management dialogue, grievance handling, and conflict resolution. + Support and participate in collective bargaining processes, including preparation, negotiation support, contract administration, and interpretation of collective agreements. + Provide guidance on employee relations cases across the employee lifecycle, balancing business needs, employee experience, and legal requirements. + Analyze HR and labor metrics (turnover, engagement, absenteeism, grievances, performance data) to identify trends, assess people and labor risks, and recommend data-driven solutions. + Support change management initiatives, ensuring people impacts, union considerations, and communication strategies are addressed during organizational or operational changes. + Partner with Centers of Excellence (Talent, Compensation, Learning & Development) to deliver impactful programs that drive leadership capability, compliance, and performance. + Support leaders in building inclusive, high-performing teams while ensuring alignment with labor agreements and union frameworks. + Ensure readiness for labor inspections, audits, and interactions with labor authorities, maintaining accurate documentation and compliance standards. **What You Will Need to be Successful:** + 4+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience as an HR Business Partner supporting business leaders. + Bachelor’s degree required + Fluency in English is required + **Solid experience working in unionized environments, with strong hands-on knowledge of collective bargaining agreements and labor relations.** + Strong working knowledge of the Mexican Federal Labor Law (LFT), labor compliance requirements, and employee relations best practices. + Proven ability to influence and coach leaders on people, talent, and labor-related decisions. + Experience managing employee relations cases, disciplinary processes, and terminations in compliance with the LFT and union agreements. + Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. + Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate HR metrics into actionable insights for the business. + High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive employee and labor matters. + Passion for fostering an inclusive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture.
