About the Role
We’re seeking a Human Resources Partner (HRP) to support a portfolio of virtual schools across the U.S. This fully remote role serves as a strategic advisor and central point of contact for school leaders and staff, providing expert guidance in workforce planning, employee relations, leadership coaching, and HR strategy.

Advise managers and staff on conflict resolution, communication, and performance issuesCoordinate with legal counsel and school boards on employment-related mattersMonitor turnover and satisfaction metrics, and implement retention strategiesManage performance assessment programs and disciplinary proceduresLeadership Coaching
Support leadership development through data-driven action plansProvide regular feedback and coaching to school leadersDrive succession planning and talent development initiativesWorkforce Planning
Assist with staffing and promotion strategies during budget cyclesCreate job descriptions and manage position changesParticipate in recruitment efforts, including interviews and candidate evaluationsEnsure effective HR communications across teamsWhat You’ll Bring
1–2 years of HR experience in the above areasDegree, preferably in Human Resources or related fieldStrong technical and software skillsHigh emotional intelligence and attention to detailExcellent communication and relationship-building abilitiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York State, New York City, Vermont, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
The minimum full-time salary range is between $60,000 - $80,000 - This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program, and information on benefits offered is here.
