What you’ll doNetworks is an organisation of over 10,000 employees that operates across all of the European markets as well as offshore in our shared services location in India, Egypt and Romania.
Current strategic focus is to deliver the Global Network transformation journey into a commercialisation model, employee engagement, organisational effectiveness and talent management. High priority includes upskilling in future skills and enriching diversity.
The role will be responsible for leading the HR agenda, with a key focus on Network Group UK business leaders, but with a global remit, as well as leading on organisational and team effectiveness, talent management and building future skills and leadership capabilities to ensure our people are fit for the future. The HRBP role is required to guide leaders with coaching and feedback to support their personal effectiveness and the broader growth and development of the team.
You will also be required to work with other HRBP’s and drive cross-functional global projects, which will involve working with the broader HR & NW leadership team. This may include, amongst others, a range of ongoing transformation programmes such as the broader skills transformation from a HR perspective, our cultural change programme and/or location and sourcing strategy.
Supports leaders in defining, developing and executing people plans that support the achievement of the business strategy. Ensures that People plans are integrated with wider HR strategy, policies & priorities.Accountable for the delivery of the annual people calendar activities within our objectives and strategyTranslates and supports the delivery of the talent strategy. Drives pipeline of diverse future leaders and accelerates high potential development while driving the Diversity & Inclusion agendaHR thought leadership to build, buy and develop future strategic capabilities for NetworkContinually challenges the business, instigating and managing transformation projects in the domains that improve organisation, team and individual effectiveness including organisational effectiveness & design, skills development & talent management.Provides feedback and coaching to the relevant leaders being supported, and ensures all leaders & people managers are equipped to drive employee engagementAdvocates & supports the use of the HR operating model, acting as role model and facilitator to ensure business areas adhere to, and HR deliver to agreed service.Proactively manages the HR Business Partner supplier interfaces to ensure a seamless customer experienceProvides support within the HR team to peers and coaching to more junior members of the teamWho you are Commercially savvy / good depth of business understandingGood breadth of HR experienceStrong relationship & coaching skills; strong communicatorAnalytical, intellectual capacity to learn very quicklyExperience of large matrixed blue-chip organisationsExperience of supporting organisational transformation, capability building and working with ambiguityHR Professional Qualifications desirable but not essentialUnderstanding of Telco and IT business models, capabilities and labour market (advantageous)Not a perfect fit?
