HR Business Partner
Description We are partnering with a Racine area client in the recruiting for an HRBP to join their team. This role requires a proactive individual with expertise in employee relations, labor law compliance, and HR operations, who can effectively support and guide both employees and leadership. As a key member of the HR team, you will contribute to fostering a positive work environment while ensuring adherence to relevant regulations. This is a permanent placement opportunity offering a full benefits package with paid time off and 401k. Responsibilities: • Provide guidance to employees and leadership on HR-related matters, including employee relations and workplace concerns. • Oversee compliance with labor laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and workers’ compensation policies. • Conduct investigations into employee relations issues and recommend appropriate actions. • Administer and manage benefit programs, ensuring employees receive accurate information and support. • Collaborate with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals. • Facilitate ADA accommodations and ensure proper documentation and implementation. • Manage workers’ compensation claims and ensure timely resolution. • Support HR compliance efforts by maintaining accurate records and ensuring adherence to best practices. • Utilize HRIS System to streamline HR processes and reporting. • Develop and implement HR initiatives that promote employee engagement and retention. Requirements • Associate or Bachelor Degree in HR or business related field • Proven experience in HR generalist roles with a focus on employee relations and labor law compliance. • Proficiency with HRIS Systems and other HR management systems. • Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and workers’ compensation regulations. • Experience conducting employee relations investigations and resolving workplace issues. • Ability to administer benefit programs and communicate effectively with employees regarding their options.
