As a result, our people enjoy working on some of the most exciting projects in the world. **Job Description** As  **HR Business Partner (Midwest & Northwest Territory)**  you serve as a strategic partner to assigned business units, aligning HR initiatives and functions with business objectives. You will provide counsel to leadership regarding best practices which maximize employee development, efficiencies, engagement and retention. You will champion a diverse and inclusive workforce throughout the employee life cycle and foster a culture of continuous improvement through performance management.  Specifically, you will be responsible for providing trusted advisory and HR support to senior leaders, line managers and employees. Preferably you will reside in the Houston area and be willing to travel to the other offices. You will report directly to the Director of Human Resources. To be the successful candidate you will have strong business knowledge, comprehensive understanding of HR, and sound acumen in delivering all aspects of Human Resources, including but not limited to employee relations, performance management and talent management/development, with support from the global and regional HR teams. As a proactive change agent, you will assess and anticipate HR-related needs effectively communicating HR solutions across various stakeholders. **Key responsibilities:** + Serve as trusted advisor to senior executives and managers. + Develop HR strategies and practices with leadership to improve employee development, performance, engagement, and retention. + Manage and resolve complex employee relation issues in addition to providing day-to-day performance management guidance to managers. + Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures and programs to managers and employees with the support of our HR Generalist and Coordinator teams. + Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies. + Support organizational change by developing communication plans, facilitating discussions and coaching managers and employees through transition. + Advocate for employee engagement and well-being. + SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable. **Qualifications** + Minimum of 7 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues. + Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational design, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws. + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations or related discipline; SHRM - CP/SCP, PHR, SPHR certification and/or Master’s degree a plus. + Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with an attention to detail. + Willingness to travel as required. + Strong analytical, problem-solving and relationship management skills. + Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset + In-depth knowledge of MS Office (including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint) **Additional Information** Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
