Partner with the bestAs an HR Business Partner, you will Collaborate with Labor and Employee Relations Centre of Excellence (L&ER CoE) to implement, adhere to, and execute operational strategy to ensure regulatory compliance at the local level. Your focus will be on first class customer service as your partner with the business to shape the people and cultural infrastructure as needed to attract, engage and retain the best talent.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Receiving employee complaints, arranging stakeholders for investigations, determining mitigation actions, and actioning together with the L&ER CoE.Coaching managers through delivering and administering the PIP and progressing mediation actions if PIP unsuccessfully met.Acting as focal point for HR with external labor office inspection team, planned or unplanned inspections, and monitoring local labor & employment regulation changes for respective area/client group.Participating in and being a key contributor at key management discussionsProviding HR input for strategic business/regional projects, long-term planning and budgeting processes as well as the employee engagement initiatives on the ground.Providing regional guidance and perspective on employee movements i.e. promotions, salary changes, workforce planning and succession planning.Supporting any potential HR diligence and integration initiatives as part of overall transformation as well as other HR initiatives.Evolving HR programs and practices across the region including Project Management for business HR initiatives.Working alongside other Centers of Excellence to support Baker Hughes wide HR initiatives and projects such as Benefits platform rollout etc.Providing recommendations for regional HR policies in line with local legislations and collaboration with relevant COEs.Communicating with the relevant stakeholders should there be any change/ update in the existing policy.Identifying opportunity areas for Tier expansion, creating knowledge articles, updating country HR manuals and supporting the relevant escalated Tier 2 cases within the pre-defined SLAs for your regional/product line area.Providing guidance on solutions to business challenges that are not covered by policy today but require compliant and effective solutions that meet the needs of the business.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role, you will:
Have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, or Business-related subject (or equivalent relevant experience in Human Resources activities). Have 2+ years of experience in HR, or experience in an accelerated career program such as ASPIRE Have employee relations experience Have the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, assertive by conviction and collaborative by nature with strong people skills. Have a strong analytical ability and use of data to provide key business insights. Have good communication skills, both verbal and written. Have a strong client focus and the ability to build good relationships and engage with business leadersWork in a way that works for you
