We’re currently hiring a Human Resources Benefits Specialist for a leading, growth-focused company based in Minneapolis, MN. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative HR team and play a key role in onboarding, benefits management, and employee support.
Human Resources Benefits Specialist
Location: Hybrid | Minneapolis, MN
Pay Rate: $22–$26/hr BOE
Schedule: Monday–Wednesday onsite, Thursday–Friday remote
Duration: Contract-to-hire
About the Role:
You’ll spend a significant amount of time supporting the onboarding process for new hires across the U.S.—from setting up and running interviews to helping new employees get started and training new HR team members. You’ll also supervise an entry-level HR generalist and be a go-to resource for benefits questions, open enrollment, and employee support. Most inquiries come through email, but you’ll also handle some phone calls.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage onboarding for approximately 20 new hires per weekCoordinate and conduct interviews, onboarding paperwork, and training for new HR employeesSupervise and mentor an entry-level HR generalistRespond to employee questions about benefits via email and phoneSupport open enrollment and benefits enrollment processesMaintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policiesCollaborate with the HR team on projects and process improvementsQualifications:
3+ years of HR generalist experience1+ year of benefits administration experienceExperience in retail or manufacturing environments is a plus, but not requiredStrong organizational, communication, and data entry skillsBachelor’s degree preferredWhy Join?

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $39.00/hr.
