Overview
A UK-regulated financial institution is seeking a detail-oriented HR Assistant to support the delivery of a high-quality, efficient and well-controlled HR function. This role offers broad exposure across the full employee lifecycle within a structured and professional environment.

 

Key Responsibilities
You will provide administrative and coordination support across HR operations, ensuring smooth execution of core people processes. This includes maintaining HR data and producing management information, supporting recruitment coordination from sourcing to interview scheduling, and managing onboarding activities for new joiners.

 

You will also assist with learning and development coordination, tracking training completion and organising sessions with external providers. The role supports payroll and benefits administration, maintains employee records, and contributes to audit and governance processes through accurate documentation and reporting.

In addition, you will support health and safety administration, probation tracking, and general HR projects while ensuring confidentiality, accuracy and adherence to policies at all times.

 

Skills & Experience
You will have prior experience in an HR administrative or coordination role, ideally within a structured or regulated environment. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and confidence working with data are essential.

Experience with HR reporting, recruitment coordination and onboarding processes is important, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. A basic understanding of employment practices, data protection and confidentiality is expected.

A degree or equivalent experience is required, with progress towards a CIPD qualification considered advantageous.
